Welcome to the Fairfield Trust

A charitable Trust providing quality homes for Christian clergy, retired missionaries and other church workers.

Purpose of Fairfield Trust

The purpose of the Trust is to provide quality rented accommodation for missionaries, clergy, and other Christian church workers; their spouses, widows or widowers who, following careers serving humanity, either in the UK or abroad, have been unable to provide a home of their own.

The Accommodation

Fairfield and Fairfield West were built in the late 19th century and in 2011 the houses underwent a substantial refurbishment.

The trust has 16 flats in the two adjacent converted homes and a Mews between them.  Thirteen modernised flats are available for renting and three are kept as guest flats for families or friends of the residents to stay when visiting Fairfield. The residential flats are all self contained with one bedroom and are large enough for either a couple or single person to live comfortably. Off street parking is available in addition to a small number of garages for rent at the properties.

Tenancies and Management

The flats are managed, on behalf of the Trust, by Belmont Property Management. Flats are normally let on long-term assured short-hold tenancies.

Rents and service charges for the flats are kept to a minimum and residents with limited incomes/savings are normally eligible to apply for Housing Benefit.
